My oh my - these are so cool! All of a sudden we had lots of requests for sandals for men so we set out to do it better than anyone else. This is one of the sets we came up with, and our favorite for a dark sandal. You're looking at real lava! What a fantastic material for a beach wedding. We've named these Sumatra in honor of Indonesia, where the materials for these beads are mined. Sumatra is the 6th largest island in the world, and the largest island entirely within Indonesia.

Materials: black seed beads, natural or black coco beads, black lava. More about materials.

Lava: The first thing you may notice about these beads is how lightweight they are. They're very porous, and look like black sponge - but they're handmade of genuine Volcanic andesite-basalt Lava stone. Lava rock is an igneous volcanic rock produced in intense heat conditions. A stone of strength. It provides stability in times of change, and helps to dissipate anger and provide guidance and understanding as it assists one in "bouncing back".
